Welcome to Only the Basics. We strive to make Only the best soaps and lotions with Only the basic ingredients - no artificial colors or preservatives. Only vegetable oils are used - coconut, palm, sunflower, avocado, olive - no lard or tallow, which can clog your pores.
We use locally based products when available - milk from a friends' organic farm (Maplewood Organic Farm) & maple syrup from a local VT producer.
We hand make and cut each product in small batches and each item is unique. We realize many people have sensitivities to scent/fragrance, so many of our products that are scented, are only lightly scented.
Simply put, great products for great skin.
